QUOTEKIT / PHOTOGRAPHY & HOURLY ESTIMATES
More creating.
Less quote-building.
Bring your packages together. Send a clearer estimate.
No account. No charge. No uploads. Save a JSON backup before closing.
01 / THE DETAILS
Set the scene
Enter the currency and precision you use. No conversion or automatic currency rules. Changing precision keeps entered price text; saved presets retain their own precision.
02 / THE SCOPE
Packages & add-ons
Describe the work. Choose items or estimated hours, then enter your own quantity and unit price or hourly rate. These are forecasts, not completed-work records.
Add a package or add-on to start your estimate.
Each line rounds half up to the chosen minor unit, then lines are summed. Percentage discounts round half up on the subtotal. No tax calculations.
03 / A PROPOSAL, NOT A PAYMENT
Plan the payments
Optionally outline a deposit, installments and the remaining balance. No payment is requested, collected or verified.
Each percentage is a share of the final estimate after discount—not a share of the remainder. Percentage payments use cumulative half-up rounding in row order; the automatic balance receives the exact remainder. Fixed amounts are exact.
No paid reference entered.
This is your unverified reference, not a transaction record or receipt. It does not alter the proposed schedule or mark an installment as paid. No payment processing.
04 / IN YOUR WORDS
Scope & payment notes
Estimate only—not an invoice, contract or tax calculation. Use your own wording.
YOUR REUSABLE STARTING POINTS
Package shelf
Save the current lines as a named preset. Presets travel with your JSON backup; nothing is stored automatically.
Appending a preset never replaces current lines. Currency and precision must match.
Fictional sample loaded. Save JSON to keep your work.
Privacy, rounding & practical limits
All files and fonts are bundled. No uploads, accounts, app analytics or automatic browser storage. There is no auto-save. Your work exists in browser memory until you download JSON. Backups are unencrypted; keep them private. Save before closing and verify the downloaded file.
Money is calculated in integer minor units using exact decimal parsing. Quantity supports up to 3 decimal places; percentage discounts support 2. Half-up rounding happens once per line and once for a percentage discount. Negative inputs, exponent notation, excessive discounts and unsupported precision are rejected. Zero quantities and totals are allowed.
Safety limits: 50 lines per estimate, 20 named presets, 12 proposed payment rows plus the automatic balance, 1,000,000 quantity per line, 9,000,000,000,000 minor units per price/subtotal, and 512 KiB JSON imports. These are implementation bounds, not paid quotas. One-page warnings are conservative estimates, not pagination guarantees. Content is never silently clipped. Use a current desktop browser with BigInt and native-dialog support; review every page in print preview. Browser/printer layout can vary.
